Mr. Levitte has over 27 years of experience in the energy, infrastructure, structured products and securitization areas in various investing, trading, structuring and banking roles. During his career, he has developed a deep expertise in asset classes including energy (E&P, midstream, and services), infrastructure and projects, equipment leasing, secured and unsecured consumer lending, middle market lending, export finance, insurance and risk transfer as well as cash and synthetic CLOs and CDOs.
From 2008 until joining Innovatus Capital Partners, LLC in January 2016, Mr. Levitte was a senior member of the Perella Weinberg Partners’ Asset Based Value Strategy Investment Team where he focused on energy, infrastructure, power, and specialty finance. In 2007, he was a senior investment analyst for Broadworth Capital, an asset focused investment vehicle for two high net worth families where he also worked closely with Mr. Schiff. In 2005 and 2006, he was a director in the asset-backed group of Societe Generale with a focus on project and infrastructure finance and esoteric assets. From 2001 to 2004, Mr. Levitte was a director in the credit derivatives and structured credit product group of RBC Capital Markets with responsibilities for structuring, trading and distributing synthetic CLO’s and CDO’s and other structured credit products. From 1994 to 2001 and from 2004 to 2005, Mr. Levitte held various structuring, origination and trading roles at JP Morgan. Prior to joining JP Morgan, he was a Vice President in the asset-backed group at Moody’s Investors Services in London and New York.
Mr. Levitte serves on the Board of Directors of SHD Oil & Gas, LLC, an E&P company focusing on the Williston Basin in North Dakota, CH&P Energy LLC, an E&P company focusing on conventional oil and gas opportunities in Central Texas, and Clearwater Holdco LLC, a company based in San Marcos, TX, focusing on treating, recycling and disposing of oil field waste.
Mr. Levitte received a B.S., Economics from the business school of Bordeaux, France, and holds a MBA with a concentration in Finance from the University of Aston (UK).
