Edwin Zhang
Mr. Zhang brings over seven years of experience in investment banking, corporate banking, and financial analysis, with a specialization in the life sciences sector. Prior to his current role at Innovatus, Mr. Zhang was an Investment Banking Associate at J.P. Morgan Chase & Co. in New York. As a member of the healthcare coverage team, he focused on mergers and acquisitions, debt financing, leveraged buyouts, and capital market transactions. He spearheaded several major transactions, notably the $3.0 billion merger of Virgin Pulse with HealthComp.
Before joining J.P. Morgan, Mr. Zhang served as an Assistant Vice President at Lloyds Bank Corporate Markets. There, he managed relationships with over 25 institutional clients and led the underwriting and execution of more than 30 corporate banking transactions. His expertise encompasses financial modeling, capital structure analysis, and credit risk assessment.
Mr. Zhang holds a Master of Business Administration from Columbia Business School and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from New York University, with a minor in Mathematics and Computer Science.
