Joseph Azulay
Mr. Azulay has over 15-years of experience in accounting in the private equity and asset management industry. Mr. Azulay joined Innovatus in 2019 as a Controller and currently holds the position of CFO. He is responsible for all aspects of financial operations of the firm, including financial reporting, valuations, and cash management. Prior to joining Innovatus Capital Partners, LLC, Mr. Azulay was a Director of Private Equity at Hedgeserv, a global, independent fund administrator, primarily focused on private equity, credit, and listed equity funds. His responsibilities at Hedgeserv included managing independent operational and financial aspects of funds to ensure accurate financial reporting, with an emphasis on investor allocations, fee calculations, and performance analysis. Mr. Azulay began his career as a Senior Audit Assistant at Deloitte in the Financial Institution Practice. At Deloitte, he played a significant role in the audit of asset management companies, working with clients such as KKR and Lazard, contributing to the planning, execution and reporting of audit engagements.
Mr. Azulay received his B.S. in Accounting from Yeshiva University. He is licensed to practice as a Certified Public Accountant in New York State.
